CARON-Tulip Etimo Crochet Hooks. Doris Chan says it best: The biggest advantage of the ETIMO hook is the elastomeric comfort grip. It is revolutionary, supremely comfortable, functional and durable. It has a soft, smooth, cushy feel and fits perfectly in my hand. She never wants to be without hers. Plus Etimo hooks are made from durable superior quality aluminum with a polished finish that does not flake or chip. Even better, the handle’s length and depth of the hook itself make stitching easier, too. The result is a crocheter’s dream that allows longer stitching with more accuracy and greater comfort. Imported.

Favorite Hook This hook is very comfortable for me. The hook part is like the Boye hooks, which I prefer, not the Susan Bates. It is about a half inch longer than Clover Soft Touch. It is the same size as Clover Armour, but I like the feel of this one a little better. That half inch makes a big difference to me, as the shorter hooks hit the heel of my had in the wrong place and become annoying after crocheting for a while. I crochet knife-stile.

Excellent quality and craftsmanship. I bought the Etimo Tulip 8-hook set and purchased this 6.5mm hook to complete it. These are without question the best hooks on the market in terms of build quality. The heads are anodized aluminum and tapered to perfection — no rough burs or edges and symmetrical. The metal extends the length of the handle, unlike some ergonomic hooks which have been reported to crack and break off where the metal ends in mid-handle. These are not the cheapest hooks on the market, yet I’m very satisfied with…

NOT for us “kinf grip” folks Theee stars for the product being as described. I wanted to love his hook after reading all the positive reviews but it’s too short. I have a “knife grip” and this seriously hurts my hand after crocheting for about an hour. Nice product just doesn’t work for me due to not being long enough.
